Alto pepper is an ultra-early, high-yield hybrid of sweet pepper with conical fruits, characterized by a strong and compact plant height of 55-60 cm with abundant foliage. Plants are well-loaded with fruits from an early stage until the final harvest, and even under heavy fruit load, fruit set does not drop, making this variety ideal for multiple harvests. Fruits have a light green color in technical ripeness and a deep red color in biological ripeness, with an average weight of about 180-200 grams, fruit dimensions reaching 7 by 11-13 cm, and wall thickness ranging from 4.2 to 5.7 mm, sometimes up to 8 mm.

This variety exhibits high resistance to diseases such as bacterial infection, fusarium, and viral infections, and also tolerates hot growing conditions well. Alto pepper has high marketability and excellent transportability due to its dense structure and thick walls. Fruits are juicy, crisp, with a rich spicy aroma, making them suitable for various culinary purposes.

For successful cultivation of Alto pepper, it is recommended to select fertile soils, provide regular watering, and ensure sunny location. The optimal planting density is about 45,000 plants per hectare, which contributes to maximum yield and fruit quality.
