Exito F1 pepper is a hybrid of sweet pepper with very early maturity, reaching ultra-early 50-55 days from seedling transplant. The plant is characterized by strong growth and good foliage, belongs to the generative type, ensuring the formation of a large number of fruits throughout the fruiting period. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses for early harvest and in open ground.
The fruits of the Exito pepper are large, cube-shaped, with a weight ranging from 220 to 260 grams. Fruit size is approximately 8 by 11-13 cm, and wall thickness varies from 5-6 mm to 9.5 mm, making them very dense and well-suited for transportation. In technical maturity, the fruits have a light green color, which turns into a bright red hue upon biological maturity. The fruits have a good, aromatic taste, making them attractive to consumers.
The Exito hybrid has high resistance to major pepper diseases, including bacterial blight, fusarium, viral infections, as well as wilting and tip rot, which is especially important for regions with unfavorable conditions. High yield of marketable product and uniform fruit size make this variety profitable for commercial cultivation.
