Peony Zorka

The Peony variety Zorka is a compact bush up to 90 cm high with sturdy, slightly drooping stems and large glossy leaves. The flowers of this variety have a peony-like shape, up to 15 cm in diameter, and are densely double and dense. Their coloration is dark pink with silver tips on the petals; the outer petals are decorated with lilac striations and have a more saturated dark pink shade at the base. The flowers have a pleasant aroma and differ in their late flowering period, which makes them especially attractive for cut flowers.

For successful growing of the Zorka peony, it is important to choose the right planting location. The plant prefers partial shade, as direct sunlight can cause petal fading. The location should be protected from strong winds and located away from large trees. The soil should be fertile and well-drained to avoid water stagnation, which adversely affects the root system. To improve drainage, sand and gravel are recommended.

The Zorka variety is distinguished by its resistance to diseases and adverse conditions, which makes it an excellent choice for gardeners.
