Peony UFA VALS

The Peony cultivar Ufa Vals is a herbaceous plant with rose-like light pink flowers about 14 cm in diameter. The bush reaches a height of 60-65 cm, and flowering occurs in June-July, belonging to medium-late periods. To successfully grow Ufa Vals, it is important to choose the planting site correctly. The plant prefers well-lit areas or light partial shade where it will be protected from direct sunlight and strong winds. The soil should be fertile, loose, loamy with neutral or low acidity, and well-drained to avoid water stagnation, which adversely affects peony roots. When planting, it is recommended to prepare a hole about 70 cm deep and wide with a drainage layer of gravel or sand 20-30 cm thick. The root collar should be at soil level, and the distance between plants should be at least 1.5 meters.

Care for the peony is not complicated; it is characterized by good winter hardiness and unpretentiousness, making it suitable for beginner gardeners. The best time for planting is from mid-August to late September, which promotes good rooting before the winter season.
