Pion 'Kyiv Anniversary'

Pion 'Kyiv Anniversary' is a decorative plant belonging to the pink-flowered peony group. The bush is semi-spreading, reaching 100 to 110 cm in height, with sturdy stems and dark green leaves. The flower is large, 13-14 cm in diameter, with a deep burgundy color, giving the plant an expressive and elegant appearance. Each flower stem bears three to four well-developed buds, ensuring abundant and prolonged blooming. The peony blooms in June and lasts approximately 12-15 days, allowing you to enjoy its beauty for a significant period. The flowers are suitable for cutting, as they remain fresh for up to eight days when cut. In addition to its decorative qualities, the plant is capable of fruiting, indicating its vitality and resilience. Pion 'Kyiv Anniversary' is recommended for individual and group plantings, as well as for border arrangements. Due to its decorative appeal and prolonged blooming, it will be an excellent addition to any garden and ideal for creating floral compositions. This variety was developed in the USSR in 1972 and registered at the National Botanical Garden named after M. M. Grikha of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
