Peony MIKHAIL LOMONOSOV

The peony variety "Mikhail Lomonosov" is a perennial plant created at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Bushes of this variety reach a height of 80 to 90 cm, have a semi-spreading form, and strong foliage. Leaves are dark green with acutely elliptical segments, which gives the plant decorative appeal. Flowers are single-petal, consist of two rows of petals, have a very large diameter, and are colored in white-pink tones with a white style and yellow staminal threads. The aroma is of medium intensity, with light jasmine notes; flowering occurs early and is characterized by weak fading of color.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as medium resistance to adverse weather conditions. The plant grows quickly, making it an excellent choice for greening parks, gardens, and squares. The frost hardiness of the variety allows it to be grown in various climatic zones, ensuring stable flowering and decoration.

A feature of the variety is its decorative value and practicality in landscape design. Bushes have strong flower stalks and abundant flowering, which creates striking floral compositions. Thanks to its resistance to drought and heat, as well as medium winter hardiness, the peony "Mikhail Lomonosov" is suitable for growing in various regions, including the European part of Russia. This variety combines beauty, reliability, and ease of care, making it popular among gardeners and landscape designers.
