Peony Alexander Fleming — a perennial herbaceous plant distinguished by its spreading bush and large double pink flowers with a lilac tint. The flower diameter reaches 14–20 cm, and bush height varies from 80 to 115 cm. Leaves are dark green, and flowers possess a bright, sweetish aroma reminiscent of rose scent. Side buds are present, contributing to prolonged and showy blooming.

This peony variety belongs to the lactiflora group and is an interspecific hybrid bred in the Netherlands in 1950. Peony Alexander Fleming prefers sunny planting locations and requires support to maintain stems. It is resistant to diseases and frost, allowing cultivation in open ground from mid-spring to autumn. For wintering, it is recommended to cover the root zone with mulch, although the plant easily withstands cold winters without special covering.

The peony is suitable for creating impressive flower beds, as well as for growing in pots and on balconies. Its long flowering period, which occurs in late May — early June and lasts about two weeks, makes it an excellent choice for gardeners wishing to decorate the site with bright and fragrant flowers.
