Peach Snow White

The Snow White peach is an autumn variety bred at the Nikitsky Botanical Garden under the direction of Larisa Dmitrievna Komar-Temna and approved for use in 2014. It was obtained from free-pollination seeds of the Elberta variety and is characterized by high cold hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -34°C. The tree is large with a spreading crown, begins bearing fruit as early as the third year after planting, making it early-yielding and convenient for cultivation in various regions of Russia.

The Snow White peach fruits have a round shape and an average weight of about 150 grams. The skin is yellow-golden with a light blush on one side, while the flesh is white, juicy, and tender. The pit separates well from the flesh, making the fruits easy to eat. The taste of the peaches features a harmonious blend of sweetness and a slight tartness, along with a pleasant aroma, making this variety particularly attractive to lovers of sweet and aromatic fruits.

The variety is characterized by high yield—up to 30 kg of fruits can be collected from a single tree. Ripening occurs at the end of September, making Snow White one of the latest peach varieties. Additionally, the variety is disease-resistant and self-fertile, which simplifies care and increases yield stability.
