Peach RODZINKA

Genetics for Modern Orchards

The «Rodzinka» peach, developed by the Nikitsky Botanical Garden (NBS-NNTS RAS) under the guidance of T.A. Latsko and A.V. Smykov, represents a significant achievement in regional pomology. It was bred to meet the rigorous demands of large-scale commercial farming, where consistency, endurance, and cost-efficiency define the success of an orchard. Since its release, the variety has gained a reputation for being a reliable performer in challenging environments.

Agronomic Strengths and Sustainability

What sets «Rodzinka» apart in the competitive fruit market is its remarkable tolerance to drought. In regions where water management is a primary constraint, this variety offers a secure investment for growers. One of its most distinctive features, which appeals to both modern industrial farmers and eco-conscious producers, is that it does not require intensive chemical spray programs. This significantly reduces the cost of orchard maintenance and lowers the environmental footprint of the production cycle.

Market Appeal

From the consumer’s perspective, «Rodzinka» delivers exactly what the market expects from a high-quality peach: a fragrant aroma and exceptionally juicy flesh. Its ability to maintain high organoleptic standards makes it a strong contender in the fresh produce segment. For industrial growers, the variety offers a stable yield, making it an excellent choice for those looking to balance high output with simplified agronomic practices. The combination of resilience and high-quality fruit makes it a standout selection for modern, sustainable fruit production.
