Peach NETIX 29

Spanish breeding for Ukrainian orchards

The "Netix 29" peach is a product of Spanish breeders from V.I.F. S.A.R.L., which officially entered the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 2026. This variety is a successful example of adapting European genetics to the climatic realities of the country. Due to its characteristics, it is recommended for cultivation in all key agro-climatic zones: Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya.

Morphological features and potential

The "Netix 29" tree is characterized by medium vigor and a semi-upright to spreading habit, making it convenient for crown formation and maintenance. During the flowering period, the tree looks aesthetic: rosette-type flowers with light pink petals create a dense floral cover. An important biological feature is the presence of pollen, which contributes to stable fruit set.

Key characteristics of the fruits and vegetative system:

• Leaf blade: long, light green in color with characteristic reddening of the central vein on the underside.
• Fruits: medium size, broad-elliptic shape.
• Fruit features: moderate asymmetry, visible suture, and a sharply protruding pistil end.

Versatility of use

The mid-season ripening period allows for efficient harvest planning. "Netix 29" is positioned as a variety for universal use. This means the fruits are suitable for both the fresh market and various types of processing, making it an attractive choice for farms focused on product diversification.

Choosing this variety is a bet on proven European breeding that has successfully passed state certification and is ready for industrial implementation in Ukrainian orchards.
