Medium-sized, multi-stemmed bush, up to 250 cm tall. Broad, raised, moderately dense crown. Bark brown with a grayish coating, smooth, with small grayish-white lenticels. Medium-thick, drooping, brown shoots. Short internodes. Conical, blunt buds. Leaves medium-sized, elongated, slightly acuminate, base rounded-triangular, apex slightly acuminate. Leaf blade smooth, light green, flat, doubly serrated, fine. Petiole green, glandular dots barely visible, stipules absent. Flowers medium-sized, 2–6 per cluster, rose-white, 20–25 mm in diameter, petal shape oval-egg-shaped, 5–6 × 8–10 mm, buds light pink, sepals 4–5 × 5–7 mm, oval.
Fruits round, slightly flattened, 14 mm high, 12 mm wide, average weight 3.4 g, single-colored, dark red. Flesh dense, juicy, red. Juice red. Stalk short, 25–30 mm, medium thickness — 2–2.5 mm. Fruit taste pleasantly sour-sweet. Stalk attachment to fruit firm. Fruits contain 16% dry matter, 10.6% sugars, 1.4% acids, 0.26% tannins, vitamins: C — 20 mg/100g, P — 165 mg/100g. Stone small, oval, 0.16 g.
Fruits ripen in the third decade of July, transportability medium. Shoots stop growing in the first decade of July, leaf fall ends in the second decade of October, heat-tolerant, drought-resistant. Average yield per bush 6.7 kg, maximum 12 kg.
Moderately winter-hardy, in severe winters one-year growths freeze to 2 points, flower buds to 30–40%, partially self-fertile, versatile use, not resistant to coccomycosis.
Used in breeding for high yield and good fruit flavor. Best pollinators: Altai Lastochka, Selifertovskaya, Subbotinskaya, Maximovskaya.
