The PROFI onion is a high-yield hybrid featuring large, uniform bulbs with a beautiful bronze or golden-yellow hue. The bulbs have a round shape and weigh between 130 and 300 grams, occasionally reaching up to 800 grams, with a diameter of 9-12 cm. The internal scales are white, the flesh is tender, juicy, and sweet without bitterness, making this variety particularly attractive for fresh consumption and salad use.
The PROFI variety is characterized by an early maturation period, reaching technical ripeness 90-95 days after seedling emergence. Short, sturdy green shoots and small, dense necks promote rapid drying and ensure excellent conditions for long-term storage of onions for up to 6 months.
