ONAYDA

Onayda F1 Onion is an early-maturity hybrid of onion developed by the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. It is intended for cultivation during the spring-summer season across all of Ukraine and is characterized by a vegetative period of approximately 105 days after seedling emergence. The plant is distinguished by a powerful root system and a sturdy leaf apparatus, ensuring good development and high yield. The bulbs have a round or widely obovate shape with bronze or rich brown skin, and the average weight of one bulb is about 102 grams. The onion has a semi-sharp taste, making it versatile for various culinary purposes.

The Onayda F1 hybrid possesses resistance to major diseases, such as fusarium root rot (Foc) and pink rot (Pt), which significantly reduces crop losses and improves product quality. The onion is suitable for mechanized harvesting and immediate marketing, and it is well-preserved without loss of marketable and taste qualities for a short period. The bulb neck is of medium thickness, which facilitates storage and transport.

Onayda F1 onion seeds are sown directly into prepared soil, which simplifies cultivation agronomy. The hybrid is recommended for an annual crop to obtain an early yield. High maturity before harvesting and after ripening ensures maximum marketable yield, reaching up to 952 centners per hectare. Seed packaging is produced in packs of 250,000 pieces, which is convenient for farmers and agrarians seeking a stable and high-quality crop.
