Description Miyuki
Miyuki F1 winter onion is a short-day variety intended for autumn sowing to obtain the earliest bunching crop and formed bulbs. Due to its early maturity, the harvest can be obtained a month earlier than the earliest analogs. Bulbs are flat-round, medium-sized, weighing from 120 to 160 grams, with excellent quality and sweet flavor with a slight pungency. The variety is characterized by high yield, ranging from 3.5 to 7 kg per square meter depending on weather conditions and cultivation methods.

Miyuki F1 tolerates low temperatures well, making it resistant to adverse climatic conditions. The bulb storage period lasts 3 to 4 months, allowing the harvest to be used for an extended period after harvest. Cultivation is possible both from seeds and from seedlings, providing flexibility in agronomy. Seeds are recommended to be sown from mid-July to early September, depending on the region, for winter sowing — from mid-August to mid-September. Spring sowing is conducted from mid-March to late May.

The breeder of this variety is the company Enza Zaden from the Netherlands, which guarantees high-quality seed material. Miyuki F1 is suitable for annual cultivation and intended for early harvest, making it an attractive choice for farmers and gardeners seeking early harvest and high productivity.
