Onion KRASAVEC

A reliable source of early greens for your garden

The «Krasavets» chive variety is a meticulously developed selection for those who prioritize efficiency and quality. Created by experts at the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing, this perennial variety is a top-tier choice for consistent, long-term production of premium green onions.

Practical use and field management

The primary advantage of «Krasavets» lies in its perennial nature. Once established, the patch remains productive for 3–5 years, significantly reducing labor costs associated with annual soil preparation and sowing. This makes it an ideal candidate for commercial operations looking to establish a steady, high-output "green conveyor."

• Fast maturity: With a growing period of up to 90 days, it ensures an early arrival on the market, capturing peak demand for fresh greens after the winter season.
• Culinary excellence: Classified as a salad-type onion, «Krasavets» is prized for its mild, delicate flavor and lack of tough fibers, making it perfect for fresh-market sales.
• Resilience and yield: The variety exhibits vigorous regrowth after harvesting, allowing for multiple cuts throughout the season. Its adaptability makes it suitable for both field cultivation and intensive kitchen garden setups.

For best results, focus on consistent irrigation and nutrient replenishment after each cutting. This supports the strong root system necessary for rapid regrowth. Whether you are a commercial grower aiming for market dominance or a gardener seeking a dependable supply of fresh chives, «Krasavets» offers the robustness and quality needed for a productive, low-maintenance agricultural cycle.
