Onion ALMANZORO

Red onion ALMANZORO F1 — a mid-early hybrid of long day type Recas, developed by Seminis. This variety features a vigorous plant with a well-developed root system, ensuring high resistance and yield potential. The maturation period is 110–115 days after emergence, allowing for high-quality harvest at optimal times.

ALMANZORO bulbs have perfectly round, large-sized forms, with high uniformity and density. Their outer scales are dark amber in color, glossy and tightly adhering, giving the onion an attractive appearance. The flesh is juicy with a sharp flavor, making this variety suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage.

The ALMANZORO hybrid is suitable for mechanical harvesting due to its dense structure and resistance. The recommended sowing rate is 0.9–1.1 million seeds per hectare. Seeds are supplied in packages of 250,000, convenient for commercial cultivation. This variety combines high yield, product quality, and good storage characteristics.
