Bulbs of the Denver variety have an oval shape and an average mass from 80 to 120 grams. The outer dry scales are brown, while the inner juicy layers are white. The bulb is single-seeded and single-chambered with a thin neck, which ensures ease of harvesting and storage. The taste of the onion is semi-spicy, making it versatile for use both fresh and in cooking.

Commercial yield of the variety reaches 38-43 tons per hectare, with fruit ripeness before harvest at 91% and after maturation at 96-100%. The Denver onion is suitable for mechanized harvesting, which significantly facilitates the harvesting process.
