Onion of the Denver variety is a mid-season variety with stable and high yield, intended for growing bulbs in a one-year culture from seeds. The period from full germination to mass harvest is 110-120 days, which allows for effective planning of agrotechnical measures. The recommended sowing rate is 1-1.2 million seeds per hectare, and the variety is adapted to short and medium day conditions.

Bulbs of the Denver variety have an oval shape and an average mass from 80 to 120 grams. The outer dry scales are brown, while the inner juicy layers are white. The bulb is single-seeded and single-chambered with a thin neck, which ensures ease of harvesting and storage. The taste of the onion is semi-spicy, making it versatile for use both fresh and in cooking.

Commercial yield of the variety reaches 38-43 tons per hectare, with fruit ripeness before harvest at 91% and after maturation at 96-100%. The Denver onion is suitable for mechanized harvesting, which significantly facilitates the harvesting process. Additionally, the variety is characterized by a long storage period, which allows maintaining product quality for a long time.
