Svyatogor

Svyatogor F1 cucumber is a parthenocarpic medium-fruited hybrid developed by the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan. It is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments, including glass and plastic greenhouses, using high trellising. The plant is shade-tolerant and has high regenerative capacity, allowing it to thrive even under insufficient light and stressful conditions. The fruiting period is 45-50 days, making it suitable for winter-spring and summer-autumn cultivation.

The fruits of the Svyatogor cucumber have a cylindrical shape with large bumps and are about 18-21 cm long with a diameter of 3.5-4 cm. The skin is dark green, shiny, with a fine structure and small light stripes at the tip. The flesh is juicy and firm, with excellent taste qualities, making this variety ideal for fresh consumption and salad preparation. The fruits have thin skin and distinct spines.

The hybrid is characterized by high and stable yield, as well as resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew and leaf yellowing. For cultivation, seedlings are recommended: seeds are sown in peat mixes or trays at a temperature not lower than +12-13 degrees, after which seedlings are transplanted to their permanent location with regular watering, feeding, and weed removal. The planting density is 2.5-3.2 plants per square meter or 30-50 thousand seeds per hectare. Thanks to its qualities and adaptability, Svyatogor F1 cucumber is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners seeking high-quality yields.
