PARISIAN CORNISHON

Parisian cornichon — an early cucumber variety of the cornichon type, French selection, which begins fruiting 40-50 days after germination. The plant is climbing, predominantly with female flower type, which contributes to high yield. Fruits are oval-cylindrical, 6-10 cm long, dark green with large bumps and black spines, giving them an attractive appearance. They are hairy, crisp, juicy, and free of bitterness, making them versatile for use.

This variety is highly resistant to diseases such as powdery mildew and downy mildew, and also tolerates stressful growing conditions. Thanks to these qualities, Parisian cornichon is successfully grown in open ground and is suitable for various climatic conditions. Parisian cornichon fruits are versatile in application: they are excellent for fresh consumption in salads, as well as for pickling and canning. Regular harvesting 2-3 times a week allows maintaining steady fruiting and obtaining quality cornichons for winter storage.
