Meadow Mint "VADIM" is an annual herbaceous plant from the mint family, belonging to the species Mentha arvensis. The plant is distinguished by dense green leaves with a characteristic aroma and thin stems. The plant height is 30–40 cm, leaves have a smooth surface, and the essential composition includes petrolinum and menthol.
The variety has high yield: under optimal conditions (warm climate, fertile soil, regular watering), up to 3–5 kg/hectare can be obtained. It is resistant to diseases and pests, adapts well to various soil conditions, preferring neutral pH 6–7, but grows successfully on more acidic soils as well. "VADIM" is also distinguished by drought resistance, which allows it to be grown in open beds or fields with moderate moisture.
Meadow Mint is used as an aromatic culture for the production of essential oils, as well as added to dishes and beverages. Leaves are used in the form of tincture or extract in the treatment of colds, gastritis, and nervous disorders. Thanks to its properties, "VADIM" is a valuable agricultural crop with a wide range of applications.
