Early-maturing watermelon hybrid with revived flavor qualities of 'Kolkhoznichestva'. Fruits are round in shape, with clearly defined netting, weighing 1.5-2.5 kg. Skin is thin and yellow-orange in color. Flesh is white, very juicy, with a tender texture. Fruits are well suited for long-distance transportation. Flavor quality consistently scores 8.5-9 points (out of 9 possible). Fruits begin to ripen on day 62-68 after emergence of seedlings. Roxolana F1 hybrid has a vigorous plant with well-developed leaf canopy, which protects fruits from sunburn, which is very important in southern Ukraine conditions. The hybrid is fairly resistant to diseases such as downy mildew, anthracnose, and root rots. Roxolana F1 performs well both on irrigated land and on dryland.
