Amalik F1 watermelon is an ultra-early hybrid of pineapple type, developed by United Genetics, an American breeding company. From transplanting seedlings to the ripening of the first fruits, it takes only 55-60 days, enabling an early harvest. The plant is long-vined, lushly leafed, well-adapted to adverse growing conditions, drought- and cold-resistant. It develops optimally on warmed, sunny areas with loose and moist soils, intended for open-ground cultivation.

The fruits of Amalik F1 watermelons have an oval shape and compact size: length reaches 20-22 cm, diameter about 18 cm, weight varies from 2 to 2.5 kg. The skin is thin, orange-colored, covered with a dense rough net. The flesh is light with a greenish or creamy hue depending on ripeness, characterized by high juiciness and sweetness with sugar content up to 14%. The flavor is honey-like, with an intense aroma, making this hybrid especially attractive for fresh consumption and home cooking.
