Flax Ukrainian Early

Optimizing Harvest Cycles with Early Maturity

The «Ukrainskyi Ranniy» flax variety, developed by the National Scientific Center «Institute of Agriculture of NAAS», is designed for producers who prioritize precision in crop rotation and ease of harvesting. With a mature height of 50–60 cm, this variety offers uniform plant stands, ensuring high efficiency during mechanical harvesting processes.

Field Performance and Utility

• Harvest Management: The short growth cycle allows for timely harvesting, providing a sufficient window to prepare fields for subsequent winter crops.
• Mechanical Efficiency: The height (50–60 cm) and strong stems significantly reduce the risk of lodging, which simplifies the operation of combines and reduces grain loss at the header.
• Quality Output: The variety produces uniform, high-quality brown seeds, which are highly valued in both technical oil processing and the food industry.

During the flowering stage, fields exhibit a distinctive appearance with a mix of blue and white flowers, serving as a signature trait of this variety. For farm managers, «Ukrainskyi Ranniy» represents a low-risk, high-consistency choice. It balances the need for low-input cultivation with the reliability required for large-scale commodity production, making it a staple for farms looking to optimize their equipment usage and seasonal operational schedules.
