Flax SIMFONIA

Focusing on Premium Textile Fiber

The «Symphony» flax variety, developed by Lenprom under the guidance of originator Boris Fedorovich Karpunin, is a specialized solution for farmers targeting the textile industry. This variety is engineered to produce high-quality fiber, meeting the rigorous standards required for industrial processing.

Practical Field Application

Cultivating «Symphony» requires adherence to precise agronomic protocols to maximize yield and fiber quality. In a commercial setting, success with this variety relies on managing specific operational phases:

• Soil Preparation: The variety thrives in well-prepared, leveled seedbeds. Uniformity in sowing depth is essential for establishing consistent crop density and simplifying future mechanical operations.
• Crop Management: As a textile-grade crop, seed rate optimization is critical. Avoiding over-density is vital to prevent lodging and ensure the production of stems with the ideal diameter required by processors.
• Harvest Timing: To maintain the integrity of the fiber, farmers should focus on harvesting during the early yellow-ripening stage. «Symphony» responds well to timely harvesting, yielding flexible and high-tensile strength fiber that commands better value at mills.

For agricultural producers, «Symphony» represents a reliable commitment to quality. By selecting this variety from Lenprom, growers can provide processors with consistent, uniform, and durable raw materials. Its genetic purity helps minimize variability, making it an excellent choice for businesses operating under strict textile supply contracts.
