Description Patricius
Salad Patricius is an early-maturing headed lettuce variety with a vegetative period ranging from 50 to 80 days, depending on growing conditions. The heads of this variety are round, large, weighing up to 700-800 grams, of medium density, with a leaf rosette diameter up to 30-33 cm. The leaves are bright green, with a crunchy and tender texture, possessing a soft and balanced flavor, making the salad particularly pleasant and refreshing to eat.

Patricius is distinguished by high yield, reaching 3.2-3.8 kg per square meter, and resistance to downy mildew, which ensures a stable and quality harvest. The variety is suitable for growing in open ground; seeds are sown directly into the ground in April-May or for seedlings in March-April with subsequent transplanting in May. The recommended planting scheme is 30 by 35 cm, which promotes optimal plant development and formation of large heads.

This salad is valued for its prolonged period of marketability and very late bolting, which allows the harvest to be kept in good condition for longer. Patricius seeds are released in convenient packaging and are suitable for growing during the spring-summer period from April to September. Thanks to its characteristics, the variety is ideal for those looking for a reliable and tasty salad for growing in open ground.
