Lettuce GREEN EARL

The 'Green Earl' salad is a high-yield medium-maturing head lettuce variety that matures in 55-60 days. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, reaching a diameter of 25 cm and a height of 18 cm. The head is elongated-elliptical, moderately loose, with a height of 22-25 cm and a diameter of 9-10 cm, weighing from 450 to 650 grams. The lettuce leaves are green in color, slightly wrinkled, tender, oily, and sweet, giving them a very pleasant and refreshing taste. The variety's yield is 4-4.3 kg per square meter.

This variety is distinguished by its drought and heat resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The leaves are dense, juicy, and crisp, while remaining thin and slightly wavy at the edges. With proper care and favorable weather, the salad develops well and forms large heads that store well in the refrigerator without losing their structure or becoming wilted.

Care for 'Green Earl' lettuce is quite simple and includes weeding and occasional soil loosening. Due to its unpretentiousness and resistance to adverse conditions, this variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected conditions. Its bright and rich taste makes it an excellent choice for fresh salads and various culinary combinations.
