Crinkly Red Lettuce is a mid-season variety of leaf lettuce, maturing in 48-50 days. The plant forms a rosette 30-33 cm high and 25-29 cm in diameter. Leaves are large, reddish in color, tender and crisp, giving the lettuce an attractive appearance and excellent taste. The weight of one plant reaches about 360 grams. After cutting, the lettuce regrows well, allowing for several harvests per season.
Lettuce seeds are white, packaging is 0.5 g. To obtain a continuous green harvest, open ground sowing is carried out from April to August, with a sowing depth of 1–2 cm. For seedling cultivation, seeds are sown in March–April, and plants are transplanted in May–June. The recommended planting scheme is 25x30 cm, which ensures optimal plant development and high yield.
Crinkly Red Lettuce is distinguished by high yield — 4.0-4.3 kg per square meter. Lettuce leaves are rich in vitamins and minerals, making them a useful and tasty ingredient for various salads and dishes. Thanks to their attractive reddish hue, the lettuce also serves as a table decoration, adding bright colors and freshness to any menu.
