SARMAT is a high-yield sunflower hybrid, featuring herbicide tolerance to tribenuron-methyl (Granstar). It is characterized by a high yield potential reaching 5.5-6.0 centners per hectare and high oil content—approximately 52%. Plants reach a height of 170-180 cm and demonstrate resistance to various races of the foxtail parasite (A-G+), as well as common diseases. Optimal planting density depends on soil type and varies from 55-60 thousand seeds per hectare in the steppe zone to 75-80 thousand in the Polesye region. To protect sunflower crops, as well as peas, soy, potatoes, and carrots from annual broadleaf and grass weeds, the selective soil herbicide SARMAT with the active ingredient prometryn at a concentration of 500 g/l is used. The product provides effective weed control and long-term crop protection for 10-12 weeks. It mixes well with other herbicides in tank mixes, expanding its application possibilities. The herbicide is released in convenient 5-liter plastic jerrycans. Thus, SARMAT represents a comprehensive solution for increasing yield and protecting agricultural crops. The sunflower hybrid is distinguished by high productivity and resistance to pests and diseases, while the herbicide ensures reliable protection from weeds, contributing to the preservation of crop health and quality.
