Description CINZAWULI
Cinzawuli is a plant known by two names depending on the part used: cilantro for the greens and coriander for the seeds. It belongs to the Umbelliferae family and is a relative of dill, cumin, fennel, and anise. Cilantro contains essential oils, vitamins (B, K, A, PP, E), trace elements such as potassium, sodium, iodine, calcium, and phosphorus, as well as tannins and antioxidants, including flavonoids and polyphenols. Thanks to its composition, the plant has medicinal properties, improving digestion, helping with stomach disorders, lowering blood pressure, and having a positive effect on the cardiovascular system and metabolism. In cooking, cilantro is used fresh as a garnish, especially in Eastern cuisine, added to salads, meat and fish dishes, giving them a special aroma and taste, and serving as a source of vitamins C and A. Coriander seeds, which are often pre-ground, are a popular spice and are part of many spice blends, such as khmeli-suneli, where coriander is combined with red pepper and other spices. This makes cinzawuli a versatile product that can be used both fresh and dried. In addition to culinary use, cinzawuli is widely used in medicine and cosmetology. The plant helps in treating heart diseases, diabetes, digestive system disorders, as well as with colds and bronchitis. In cosmetology, cilantro is used to remove freckles and acne. Low calorie content and the ability to improve metabolism make it useful for weight loss. However, dosage should be observed when consuming, as cinzawuli can cause allergies, affect blood clotting, and lower blood pressure.
