Description RED ANNA
Red Anna — a mid-season potato variety for table use, developed in the Czech Republic. The plant is characterized by medium to high height, semi-erect growth habit, and medium-sized green leaves with wavy edges. Tubers have an oval-round shape with small eyes, red skin, and dark-yellow flesh. The weight of marketable tubers ranges from 90 to 140 grams, and starch content varies between 13.9–17%. The variety is distinguished by good taste and high marketability, making it suitable for preparing various dishes.

The yield of Red Anna variety ranges from 117 to 321 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching 331 centners per hectare in the Moscow region. Tubers have high storability — about 96% — ensuring long-term storage without quality loss. The number of tubers per plant ranges from 8 to 11, contributing to a stable and abundant harvest.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its high resistance to various diseases and pests. Red Anna is resistant to potato cancer pathogen, golden potato cyst nematode, as well as crinkle and striped mosaic. This makes the variety a reliable choice for cultivation in the Central region and other suitable climatic conditions using standard agronomic practices.
