The potato variety Artemovets is a medium-early table variety intended for wide use in culinary applications. Plants of this variety are of medium height, intermediate type with semi-erect form. Leaves are medium-sized, green, and the flower is also medium-sized with moderate intensity of anthocyanin coloration on the inner side. Tubers have oval-round shape with small eyes, yellow skin, and cream-colored flesh. Average mass of marketable tubers ranges from 100 to 115 grams, and starch content reaches 13.2%, ensuring good taste and excellent culinary qualities.

The Artemovets variety is characterized by high market yield, varying from 216 to 389 centners per hectare, corresponding to the "Dachny" standard and exceeding the "Ladожский" standard by 41 centners per hectare. Maximum yield may reach 447 centners per hectare, comparable to the "Tuleevsky" standard. Tubers have a marketability of 85% and storability of 95%, indicating good preservation during storage.

Special attention is given to the variety's disease resistance. Artemovets potato is resistant to potato cancer pathogen and golden potato cyst nematode, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. According to the VNIIFitopatologii data, the variety shows moderate susceptibility to late blight in both foliage and tubers. Additionally, it possesses field resistance to crinkly, striped mosaic, and leaf curling, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various conditions.
