WOLNUSHKA cabbage is a mid-late white cabbage variety with round-flat heads of blue-green color and a medium-intensity waxy coating. Plants of medium height form heads weighing from 2.3 to 3.3 kg, featuring whitish flesh and excellent taste. The leaves are dense with a pleasant texture, making this variety versatile for fresh consumption and long-term storage. Yield in the West Siberian region reaches 448-779 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity and adaptability to climatic conditions. Historically, the WOLNUSHKA variety appeared in the USA before 1885 and has since proven itself as a reliable and quality cabbage variety. Heads reach a diameter of 25-30 cm and, under favorable conditions, can weigh up to 5-6 kg. They are characterized by high density, a crisp and tender structure with a fine texture, making them especially suitable for making sauerkraut. The maturation period is approximately 120 days, allowing for harvest planning in mid-late terms. The WOLNUSHKA variety is valued for its unpretentiousness in cultivation and versatility in application. In addition to fresh use, cabbage leaves are suitable for preparing various dishes, including sides and salads that pair well with fish and meat dishes. Thanks to good storability and resistance to storage, the cabbage retains its taste qualities and nutritional properties for a long time, making it an excellent choice for home and commercial cultivation.
