Stolichna

White cabbage variety 'Stolichnaya' was developed by the Kyiv Experimental Vegetable Station and approved for use in the Far East region since 1983. This variety is characterized by a medium-sized rosette with a diameter of 70–82 cm, with lower leaves slightly raised. Leaves are of medium size, entire or with petioles, with margins that gradually transition downward. Heads have a round-convex shape, height of 18–21 cm, and are green with a bluish tint. The vegetation period is 145–165 days, making it suitable for pickling.

'Stolichnaya' is distinguished by high commercial yield, reaching 5.1–8.2 kg per square meter. Heads are resistant to cracking, making them suitable for mechanized harvesting. The variety is recommended for cultivation both by direct sowing into the soil and through seedlings, offering flexibility in agronomy.

In terms of disease resistance, 'Stolichnaya' shows moderate resistance to black leg of seedlings and resistance to vascular bacterial blight. However, the variety is significantly affected by phoma, clubroot, and mucous bacterial blight. Head storability is average, which should be considered during storage and transportation.
