The Priority cabbage variety is a hybrid of white cabbage with different maturation periods, allowing it to be used for both early and late cultivation. Early hybrids have a vegetative period of about 80-85 days, while late varieties reach maturity in 130-135 days. The heads have an oval shape with a dense internal structure and weigh from 2.8 to 4 kg depending on the variety. Green protective leaves protect the fruit from external influences, which promotes long-term storage and preservation of marketing qualities.
Priority cabbage is distinguished by high resistance to fusarium and thrips damage, as well as tolerance to cracking, which is especially important when growing in various climatic conditions and during long-term storage. Seeds have uniform germination even at low temperatures of 2-3°C, which expands sowing possibilities and allows cultivating the crop both via seedlings and direct sowing into open ground. The recommended planting density is 35-50 thousand plants per hectare depending on the product purpose.
Priority cabbage is versatile in application: it is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for processing, including pickling and stuffed cabbage preparation. Due to its dense structure and high market value, the yield is well transported and can be stored for up to 4 months, and in some cases, up to 7 months under proper conditions. This variety does not require intensive agrotechnology and minimally needs fertilizers, making it attractive for various types of enterprises.
