This hybrid is distinguished by its high yield and superior commercial qualities: round, medium-large heads weighing from 1.5 to 2.5 kg have a pleasant bluish-green color and tender leaf texture. The leaves are thin, of medium toughness, without thickening, making the cabbage ideal for fresh consumption, stuffed cabbage preparation, and processing. Harvest can be collected when the head reaches a mass of about 1 kg, and the maturation period is 75-80 days depending on planting dates.
The Odyssey F1 hybrid is highly adaptable to various climatic conditions, including drought, minor frosts, and waterlogging. The plant is resistant to stresses and diseases, particularly bacterial and fungal infections, ensuring a stable yield and reducing loss risks. The cabbage responds well to fertilizers and is suitable for conveyor planting in open ground, both by seedling method and under temporary covers.
