KRISTALIN is a mid-early cauliflower hybrid maturing in 70-80 days. It is characterized by a round, dense, and snow-white head, which is reliably protected by self-folded leaves that prevent yellowing. This hybrid is distinguished by good resistance to the main cauliflower diseases, making it a reliable choice for growing in various climatic conditions.
Cauliflower KRISTALIN is intended for summer and autumn growing and is versatile in use, but is particularly valued for processing and freezing. For successful growing, it is recommended to observe certain agrotechnical tricks: sowing for seedlings in the second half of March with subsequent transplanting into open ground at the end of April – beginning of May, as well as sowing in a cold greenhouse or directly into the ground under film. Seedlings should be hardened and fed with complex fertilizers ensuring full nutrition. An important stage is shading the heads by breaking or tying leaves, which helps preserve their whiteness and density.
To obtain a high yield, KRISTALIN requires constant watering, soil loosening, hilling, weeding, and regular feedings – 2-3 times per season. The optimal planting scheme is 35x50 cm. The hybrid does not tolerate acidic soils and requires careful care, which is justified by its high productivity and product quality. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, KRISTALIN shows excellent results when grown in different regions.
