Description CHIRS
CHIRS is a mid-early hybrid of cabbage intended for growing fresh produce on the market. The vegetative period is 70-80 days from seedling planting, ensuring simultaneous and uniform crop maturation. Cabbages have a round, uniform shape with a short stalk and weigh from 2.0 to 4.0 kg. Leaf color varies from light green to bluish-green with a characteristic waxy coating, and they are snow-white in cross-section, indicating high fruit quality.

The hybrid is characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to various climatic conditions, including resistance to high temperatures and excessive humidity. The plant is of a semi-open type with a powerful root system and a strong vertically growing leaf apparatus, which promotes its energetic growth and high uniformity of cabbages. CHIRS is resistant to main diseases such as vascular bacteriosis and fusarium, as well as to cabbages splitting, which significantly increases its reliability and yield.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to grow under cover – film, agrofabric, or in greenhouses, as well as to use fertile soils with fertilizer application. CHIRS cabbage is cold-hardy, light-loving and moisture-loving culture, possessing excellent organoleptic qualities, which makes it in demand for fresh consumption.
