Cabbage VOROBUUSHEK

Reliable Fusarium Defense for Your Field

Working with the 'Vorobushek' cabbage variety, developed by the Timofeev Selection Station, growers immediately notice its resilience against Fusarium wilt. This is the variety's core asset: while other hybrids require frequent fungicide applications, 'Vorobushek' holds its own against disease. Created by G. F. Monakhos and his team (N. N. Vorobyova, E. N. Yakovleva), this variety was engineered for stable performance in challenging soil conditions.

Agrotechnics and Visual Specs

As a grower, you receive a compact, leafy type of cabbage that is easy to manage during planting and maintenance. It doesn't take up excessive space, allowing for optimal field density. The round heads, weighing between 0.5 and 1.0 kg, are perfect for the fresh produce market. The yellow-green color is visually appealing at the point of sale, while the compact head shape simplifies logistics and storage.

• Resistance: High immunity threshold against Fusarium wilt.
• Weight Control: Marketable heads in the 0.5–1.0 kg range.
• Market Focus: Optimized for the fresh produce segment.

'Vorobushek' requires no complex maintenance. The plant grows predictably and is not prone to cracking, provided basic irrigation protocols are followed. Working with this variety shifts the focus from 'survival-mode' farming to quality post-harvest preparation. By choosing this variety, you are investing in predictability: the crop delivers consistent, clean produce that meets consumer demand without unnecessary production risks.
