The Barynya cabbage variety is a late-maturing hybrid of white cabbage designed for cultivation using 40-45-day seedlings. The time from planting to technical maturity ranges from 90 to 120 days, depending on growing conditions. The plants are powerful, featuring a raised rosette of dark green leaves covered with a waxy coating, which provides additional protection and improves appearance. The heads are round, very dense, weighing from 3 to 5 kg, with a white, juicy, and crisp internal structure without bitterness. The inner stalk is of medium size, facilitating easy processing and consumption.

The Barynya hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to major cabbage diseases, such as cruciferous clubroot and Fusarium wilt, and is also tolerant to thrips damage.
