Cabbage Lentyayka

Focus on Processing and Yield Stability

The «Lentyayka» variety from the Aelita agricultural firm is a specialized solution for those growing cabbage not only for the fresh produce market but also for long-term storage or industrial processing. The breeders (V.G. Kachaynik, M.N. Gulkin, and the Aelita team) developed this hybrid with technological efficiency in mind, aiming to minimize manual labor and harvest losses.

Why agronomists choose this variety

• Optimal Head Density: The variety features traits ideal for industrial processing. The dense leaf structure ensures high-quality shredding with minimal waste.
• Crop Uniformity: In the field, «Lentyayka» demonstrates high uniformity, which facilitates mechanized harvesting—a critical factor for farms looking to close the season within a tight schedule.
• Application: The primary focus is processing. The heads maintain their marketability and are resistant to cracking under proper agronomic management, simplifying logistics from the field to the production facility.

Practical application: this variety performs best under intensive farming technologies. It is recommended for farmers targeting the HoReCa segment or sauerkraut production facilities, where leaf density and texture after processing are the key performance indicators.
