Description Milana
Red cabbage of the Milana variety is a late-maturing, high-yielding variety with a vegetative period from germination to technical ripeness of about 150-160 days. Heads have an oval-round shape, are dense, weigh from 1.5 to 2.3 kg, and have a characteristic red-violet tint. The variety is characterized by resistance to cracking, which ensures crop preservation and allows the cabbage to be used both for fresh consumption and for long-term winter storage and marketing.

For cultivation, seedlings are transplanted into open ground at an age of 45-50 days. The optimal temperature for seed germination is 18-20°C; after seedlings appear, it is recommended to lower it to 7-8°C for 5-7 days. The recommended planting density is 3-6 plants per square meter. The area for cultivation should be well-lit, ventilated, and sufficiently moist, which promotes the formation of high-quality and healthy heads.

Milana cabbage has a delicate and balanced taste, is rich in vitamins and fiber, making it a healthy and tasty product. Due to its high storability and resistance to damage, the variety is excellent for winter storage, retaining its taste and nutritional qualities until the next spring.
