Red cabbage Autoro F1 is a high-yielding hybrid of mid-late maturing red cabbage. The heads are round-oval, dark burgundy in color with a matte bluish sheen and thin covering leaves that protect the crop from drying out. Head weight reaches up to 2 kg, indicating high yield potential. The vegetative period is approximately 116 days, after which the cabbage is ready for harvest.
This variety is characterized by dense heads and a long storage life — up to 4-5 months fresh, preserving flavor and nutritional properties throughout the storage period. Autoro F1 cabbage is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, making it both nutritious and beneficial. The taste features crisp notes with a mild sweet-herbal spiciness, though older leaves may exhibit pronounced bitterness.
For successful cultivation of Autoro F1, seedlings should be planted in open ground, sown in March and transplanted in May. Optimal germination temperature is 18–20°C, followed by lowering to 7–8°C for 5–7 days to prevent stem elongation. The cabbage prefers well-lit, ventilated areas with adequate moisture and fertile, light soils rich in organic matter and mineral fertilizers. The variety is resistant to several diseases, reducing the need for additional protection and promoting high productivity.
