MOLDOVAN MELODY

Iris 'Moldovan Melody' is a late-blooming plant with a densely foliated bush and thin, tall, sturdy flower stalks. The leaves are narrow and long, creating an elegant contrast with the large inflorescences.

The inflorescence consists of 4–5 flowers with a diameter of 8–10 cm. The flower has a rich blue hue with a purple nuance and does not have a scent. The flowering period lasts about 16 days, starting in mid-July (average start date – July 3). Thanks to abundant flowering, the plant attracts attention both in garden compositions and in decorative beds.

Propagation is carried out by dividing the rhizome: from one plant, you can get about 20 new ones. This makes 'Moldovan Melody' a popular choice for greening territories where a durable and beautiful plant with a long flowering period is required.
