Iris MEMORY OF THE ARCHER IRIS

An elegant highlight for landscape design

The «Pamyati Luchnik» iris is a selection variety that has become a significant milestone in ornamental horticulture. Developed under the aegis of FANSA (the Federal Agrarian Research Center), this variety combines a French genetic base with the adaptability required for temperate climatic conditions. The variety originates from a French breeder, ensuring high standards of quality for the planting stock.

Visual Characteristics

The variety stands out due to its unusual color palette: its petals combine purple, white, and yellow shades, creating a striking contrast that shifts depending on the light. The flower stalks reach a height of 70 to 90 cm, making the «Pamyati Luchnik» iris an ideal tool for tiered garden compositions.

Applications in Landscaping

• Aesthetics: The variety has proven itself excellent in creating mixed borders where a strong vertical accent is needed.
• Resilience: Thanks to its development within the FANSA framework, the iris possesses increased winter hardiness and flowering stability.
• Cultivation: It follows standard requirements for irises—sunny spots with well-drained soil—making the plant convenient for both professional landscape designers and home gardeners.

This variety is often chosen for its combination of aesthetic sophistication and reliability, verified through field trials at specialized agricultural institutes. «Pamyati Luchnik» is more than just a garden ornament; it is the result of breeding efforts aimed at creating long-lasting and expressive floral varieties.
