Engio 247 SC c.i. — a new systemic-contact, highly potent insecticide for protecting fruit, vegetable crops and potatoes from pests, composed of two active ingredients.
The product features a broad spectrum of action against many pests, as well as adult stages of mites. Unlike other insecticides, it remains effective under elevated and reduced temperatures and dry environmental conditions. The duration of plant protection against pests after treatment with Engio 247 SC c.i. exceeds 20 days. The contact ingredient penetrates the pest's outer shell, leading to their destruction, while the systemic ingredient enters the plant and accumulates in growth points, providing long-term protection of the entire plant and its new shoots. Due to its high solubility, the product, when applied to soil, is absorbed by the plant's root system, providing additional protection against soil pests. The product belongs to the low-toxicity group. Maximum application frequency - 2. Pre-harvest interval: apple trees — 14 days; potatoes and vegetable crops — 20 days. Working solution: dissolve 3.6 ml of the product in 10 liters of water per 2 hectares. When treating fruit trees, use 2 liters of working solution per young tree and 5 liters per tree with a large crown.
Lambda-cyhalothrin
Unique active ingredient with contact action. Studies and industrial use have shown that lambda-cyhalothrin exhibits high activity and eliminates a broader spectrum of pests compared to other pyrethroids. The insecticide quickly penetrates into the pest's body through the cuticle, stimulating sodium ion impulse conduction through nerve tissue. This results in overstimulation of the nervous system and loss of control over muscle activity. Disorientation and cessation of feeding occur almost immediately after the active substance enters the insect’s body, followed by paralysis and death.
Thiamethoxam
A unique active ingredient belonging to the second generation of neonicotinoids. Thiamethoxam acts on the pest’s nervous system responsible for feeding. Insects stop feeding within minutes after contact with thiamethoxam. It is effective across a wide temperature range. Due to its high systemic solubility, thiamethoxam rapidly penetrates the plant, accumulates in young shoots, and remains active for a long time. Thiamethoxam is resistant to sunlight. Due to its high solubility, part of the product that enters the root zone is absorbed by the plant's root system, providing additional action against soil pests.
