Advantages
insecticide of the neonicotinoid class;
provides long-lasting protection against the most harmful insects;
effective application in greenhouse farming;
high efficiency under various weather conditions;
no phytotoxicity.
Formulation
Water-soluble concentrate containing 200 g/l imidacloprid
Mode of Action
The product has acute contact and systemic action. Imidacloprid blocks postsynaptic nicotinic cholinergic receptors in the insect nervous system. As a result, signal transmission through the central nervous system of pests is suppressed, causing them to lose motor activity, stop feeding, and die within a day.
Duration of Protective Effect
Duration of protective effect is not less than 14 days, depending on the type of pest and weather conditions.
Speed of Action
The toxic action speed is high.
Spectrum of Activity
Whitefly, stem borers, bed bugs, Colorado potato beetle, aphids, thrips, grasshoppers, etc.
Compatibility
Compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Before wide-scale application, compatibility with a specific product must be checked for chemical and biological compatibility at recommended doses.
Potential for Resistance Development
To prevent resistance development, it is recommended to alternate this product with insecticides of other chemical groups and different modes of action.
Application Technology. Preparation of Working Solution
Prepare the working solution immediately before application and use it on the same day. Fill the sprayer tank halfway with water, add the full dose of the product, and top up with the remaining water. Mix thoroughly.
Prepare the working solution and refill the sprayer on designated areas that will later be decontaminated.
Use ground boom sprayers models OPSh-15-01, OP-2000-2-01 or equivalents. For aerial application — An-2 aircraft and Mi-2 helicopter.
Spraying should be conducted on calm days in the early morning or late evening, ensuring uniform leaf wetting. The interval between application and potential rainfall should be at least 3-4 hours.
The product does not reduce efficacy at high air temperatures and is sufficiently resistant to rain wash-off and sunlight exposure.
Phytotoxicity
No phytotoxic effects are observed when applied at recommended doses.
Recommendations for Protection of Beneficial Flora and Fauna
The product is highly hazardous to bees — risk class 1. Compliance with the "Instructions for Preventing Bee Poisoning by Pesticides" and the following ecological regulations is required:
Conduct plant treatment in early morning or late evening.
For ground spraying:
wind speed up to 1-2 m/s;
bee protection buffer zone — not less than 4-5 km;
bee flight restriction — 96-120 hours.
For aerial spraying:
wind speed up to 0-1 m/s;
bee protection buffer zone — not less than 5-6 km;
bee flight restriction — 9-10 days.
Prior notification of beekeepers 4-5 days before treatment is required.
The product is prohibited for use in sanitary zones around fishery water bodies within 500 m from the flood boundary at maximum flood level, but not closer than 2 km from existing shorelines.
