KRASTOTKA is an early-maturing variety of fast-growing green culture that reaches market readiness just 22‑27 days after germination. Thanks to this short vegetative phase, it can be sown every 10–15 days, allowing for several harvests during the season.
The yield of this variety is high – from 2.1 to 2.4 kg per square meter. Leaf rosettes are vertical, 20‑22 cm in diameter and weighing 20‑25 g. Leaves are large, cut, 16‑20 cm long and 5‑6 cm wide, have tender, juicy tissue and a piquant nutty-mustard flavor, making them ideal for fresh consumption: in salads, as a side dish to meat and fish dishes.
For successful cultivation, regular watering, weeding, soil loosening and fertilization must be observed. Harvest is conducted before the appearance of flower stalks; if necessary, cutting can be done to maintain the delicate flavor of the greens. Such an approach ensures the preservation of high market qualities of the plant throughout the growing period.
