GORA GOVERLA

Gora Goverla is a high-yielding, self-sterile persimmon variety, distinguished by its large fruit size (240‑280 g) and bright yellow or orange-red skin. The flesh is juicy and aromatic, initially slightly astringent, but sweet with a characteristic aroma when fully ripe.

The tree reaches a height of 3–4 m and forms an oval dome-shaped canopy up to 3 m in diameter. It begins fruiting at 3–4 years of age, with harvest starting in the second half of October and lasting until February. The variety is disease-resistant and frost-hardy up to -25 °C, making it suitable for cultivation in various Ukrainian climatic conditions.

Gora Goverla has good storage quality: fruits are kept until February, and with proper care, 60–70 kg of harvest can be obtained per tree. To increase yield, it is recommended to plant alongside pollinators 'Virginska' or 'Bozhyi Dar'. Fruits are used fresh, in desserts, salads, juices, jellies, jams, and conserves. This is a universal variety suitable for both home gardens and commercial cultivation.
