PGSSKH 1 is a high-yield cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.), characterized by resistance to fusarium and verticillium wilts, as well as spider mites and aphids. The plant has a conical shape, up to 1 m in height, palmate leaves of medium size without curling, and cream-colored flower petals. The box is of medium size with an oval longitudinal cross-section, and the fruit stalk is of medium length.
Cotton seed yield reaches 33.7 to 47.4 c/ha at standard moisture content and up to 38.4 c/ha at increased moisture content. Pre-harvest collections account for 70–90% of the yield, while the mass of seed per box ranges from 4.5 g to 6.1 g. Fiber recovery is approximately 34–37%, fiber length is about 33 mm, staple length is 38 mm, breaking strength is 27.9 H, and linear density is 5989 tex.
Optimal growing conditions include a planting density of 80,000–100,000 plants/ha, six to seven tillage operations, and three irrigations during the growing season. The vegetative cycle lasts from 105 to 125 days. With a differentiated pre-irrigation moisture regime (70%–75%–65%), yield increases, and profit can reach 407 thousand rubles/ha with a profitability of 138%. The variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting and ensures a stable yield of high-quality cotton seed and seeds (20–23.8 c/ha).
