Systemic post-emergence selective herbicide for the destruction of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, including those resistant to 2,4-D and MCPA, in wheat, barley, and corn crops.
Formulation and active ingredients:
Water-soluble concentrate containing 2,4-D, 344 g/L and dicamba acid, 120 g/L.
Chemical class:
Derivatives of phenoxyacetic and benzoic acids.
Packaging:
Barrels of 10 L.
Speed of action:
Initial signs of action appear within 2-3 days after application, complete death occurs within 1-2 weeks. The effect of the product is effective only against broadleaf weeds that are actively growing at the time of application.
Mode of action:
The active ingredient is absorbed through leaves and stems, translocated throughout the plant, and disrupts the biosynthesis of structural and enzymatic proteins that lead to disruption of all components of the plant's metabolism, affects photosynthesis and cell division processes in weed meristems, causing leaf and stem deformation followed by plant death. Due to its systemic action, Mikodin reaches the root system, disrupting water and nutrient exchange, which ultimately leads to plant death.
Properties and advantages:
Mikodin — a unique herbicide that clears fields of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds under the following crop rotations;
Applied in the 3–5 leaf stage of corn and in the tillering stage for cereals;
High biological efficiency;
Mikodin has no residual effect on subsequent crops in the crop rotation;
Does not accumulate in environmental objects;
Effective against a wide spectrum of weeds (over 200 species);
Highly effective starting from +10 oС.
WHO classification, toxicological characteristics:
III class (moderately toxic).
Shelf life and storage conditions:
Three years in sealed factory packaging at temperatures from +5 oС to +35 oС.
